The season is usually the first weekend in October. The winning bidder must apply for an antelope permit for 2012 and if
not drawn continue to apply annually. This is a private land only “hunt designation code” for drawing and usually takes 0

3)    SWAN MOUNTAIN OUTFITTERS Is Proud to Offer to SCI-Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula Chapter:

                                                                          “Choose Your Hunt”

In order to generate interest and excitement at this year’s SCI banquet, Swan Mountain Outfitters is donating a “Choose
Your Hunt” package.  There are a variety of hunts that we offer throughout the course of the year.  We have observed
that often times when one specific hunt is being auctioned; many people sit out since they may not be interested in that
particular species.  With “Choose Your Hunt” all species we hunt are in the pool of offered hunts, and the hope is this
will involve more attendees of the banquet in the bidding.  The number of hunters and trip duration varies so that each
hunt option approximates the same targeted retail value.  Each hunt is described below:

Trophy Horseback Archery Elk Hunt

We are pleased to offer SCI a mountain horseback archery elk hunt for one hunter for the 2012 or 2013 season. With
exclusive access in the area where we hunt, Swan Mountain Outfitters is able to offer archers perhaps one of the most
unique and best opportunities to bag an elk of a lifetime. Our elk hunting areas are so remote that it takes us a day to
get there and is home to many distinct elk herds.

Swan Mountain Outfitters takes only take six hunters in each of our archery elk hunt areas for three 7-day sessions
surrounding peak rut times. We employ two-on-one guiding as we have found it is the best way to maximize our hunters’
opportunities to be successful yet keep the cost affordable. What makes an archery hunt truly successful is the hunting
skill of the guide. We have perhaps some of the top guides in the state many of which have been guiding for us for years.

We utilize a spike camps, and are so finicky about scent control and noise that we don’t burn fires or have the comforts
of our typical hunting camps – it’s all about getting archers their animals.  Hunts typically run from 2nd week of
September to October 3.

Trophy Horseback Mule Deer/Whitetail/Elk Hunt

We are pleased to offer SCI a late fall combination mule or whitetail deer and elk 5-day hunt off of horseback for one
hunter.  Since all of our hunts are designed as combination hunts, hunters also have the opportunity to get an elk while
they are hunting for their mule or whitetail deer.  All of our hunts are done off of horseback and from an authentic
outfitter camp with wall tents, etc. Hunts include food and lodging at camp, guides at a ratio of two hunters to one guide,
meat care and trophy preparation.  Hunters have a choice of the weeks in November 2012 or 2013 to choose from.
Hunters can also add other hunters at the banquet special of 10% off.

 Duck ‘N Buck

We are pleased to offer SCI a new hunt combination for one hunter we like to call Duck N Buck.  Guests will stay at
Swan Mountain Ranch with all the great amenities including theater, hot tub, and game room, etc. We provide all the
meals and guiding.

Hunters will alternate hunting whitetail and waterfowl.  This hunt has a different pace, and is really designed for someone
who if here to relax and have fun just as much as to hunt.  We only offer these hunts the last week in October, and first
week in November, and space is limited to four hunters a session.  Hunts are 6 days in length and include meals, guide,
and transportation to/from airport.  There is also plenty for a non-hunter to do, and we often have spouses staying at the
lodge and do activities around the area while their spouse hunts. Hunters have a choice of the weeks in 2012 or 2013 to
choose from.

In all cases, hunters can opt to upgrade, take non-hunters, switch for another hunt, etc.  Donated hunts do not include
the price of tags, and only include transportation to/from the airport if indicated.  Deer & Elk hunts require the purchase
of a draw tag that historically has been a 100% draw.  The deadline for this application is March 15th of each year.  Prices
for non-hunters, additional hunters, etc, are all negotiable.  All questions should be directed to Pat Tabor, (406)886-3900.
